Parking for the Reunion Activities

Dear Attending Alums, This is the “final” last email regarding the 40th AHS Class Reunion. It is down to that time when we will soon be arriving for the festivities. All events need parking so for your information here is the info needed to find a parking place near the venues for the events:

Friday night’s event takes place right on Atlantic Ave, so you can park on the street – but note that Delray Beach has parking meters now…! There is also valet parking right near A-1-A, as well as in the new Seagate hotel.  Boheme Bistro is located at 1118 East Atlantic Avenue and is within walking distance from the Marriott and most any part of the Avenue in either direction (just a few blocks east of the bridge on Atlantic).
Saturday night’s event will be held at the Hyatt Place Hotel, which is located at 104 N.E. 2nd Avenue in Delray Beach. Parking will be available for all attendees directly behind the building!
Sunday’s event will be held at the new Lake Ida Park, which is located at 950 N.W. 9th Street in Delray Beach.

About Atlantic High School 72 Reunion 2012 Delray Beach FL

Atlantic High School was born from the consolidation of two great high schools - Seacrest High School and Carver High School. The class of 1972 was the first "official" class to graduate from Atlantic High School due to the previous class having the option to list Seacrest, Carver or Atlantic on their diploma. Suddenly, it's time for our 40th reunion. Where did the time go? We want everyone to attend this reunion (still in the planning stages). But, finding classmates, especially 40 years later, even with today's technology, is very difficult: names change, people move and we know at least 40 have passed away. So, EVERY member of AHS 72 is automatically a member of the "search and find" committee. Serioulsy. If you even think you know where a classmate may be - call them! If you know a member of a classmates family - call them!
